Preferences

The Prefs button opens the Preferences screen. These options apply to the whole run, whether you run your own task list or a preset. They’re saved with your profile. The screen has four tabs: Routine, Anti-ban, Account and Alerts.

Option Default What it does
Show paint On Draws the script’s overlay on the game screen (task, runtime, tasks completed, status).
Blur my RSN Off Blurs the account’s name in the chatbox and anywhere else it shows in the game view, so you can share screenshots.
Option Default What it does
Minutes 0 (off) Switches to another task after this many minutes, instead of finishing one task before the next.
Randomize task order per account Off Runs the tasks in an order unique to this account instead of the order shown in Setup.
Skip initial bank Off Starts with banking marked as done, so the first task doesn’t go to the bank straight away.

About rotation:

  • It switches between different kinds of work: a skill, quests, a type of activity. It never switches between two tasks of the same skill.
  • It doesn’t leave a quest in progress, a minigame round, or tasks that must run to the end, such as diaries.
  • When rotation is on, the side panel shows Next task rotation.

About Randomize task order per account:

  • The order is the same every run for the same account, and different for each account.
  • Requirements still come first: a quest is placed after the quests it needs, after the skill tasks that reach the levels it needs, and so on.
  • Each account also gets its own pacing: some finish one thing before the next, some switch often. See Account seeds.
  • Presets always order themselves this way, whatever this option says.
Option Default What it does
Same-tile stop (minutes) 3 Stops the script if nothing happens for this many minutes. 0 turns it off.
Delay before the next task (seconds) 10 Waits this long after a task completes before starting the next. 0 turns it off.

The same-tile check counts anything as activity: moving, an animation, experience, a change in the inventory, or new dialogue. Combat and a few known waits (such as waiting on the Fishing Trawler boat) don’t count as standing still. When the script stops for this reason it sends a debug report to the developer (see Website tracking). If membership has run out, it skips the stuck task instead of stopping.

The delay between tasks varies per account, between three quarters and one and a quarter of the number you set. There’s no delay after the last task.

Option Default What it does
Enable global world hopping Off Hops to another world on a timer.
World-hop interval in minutes 45 to 90 The time between hops is picked at random between these two numbers.
World-hop region Any Only hops to worlds in this location: Any, United States, United Kingdom, Germany or Australia.

When the timer runs out, the script waits until the account is idle and safe before hopping: not moving or animating, not in combat, no dialogue or make screen open, not in the Wilderness, an instance or a minigame. It never hops during the Arceuus Library, Guardians of the Rift, Fishing Trawler or Mass Tempoross, which need their own worlds. A failed hop is retried a little later.

Breaks only start when the account is safe, using the same checks as world hopping, and a break that comes due at a bad moment waits for the next safe one. The OnlyBot client’s own breaks also wait for a safe moment. See Breaks and anti-ban.

Circadian breaking and Enable global mini breaks are either/or: ticking one unticks the other.

Option Default What it does
Humanized Mode Off Experimental pacing and idle actions.
Circadian breaking Off Breaks that follow this account’s own daily habits, including meals, errands and sleep.
Break frequency Normal Shown with Circadian breaking: Fewer, Normal or More.
Enable global mini breaks Off Short idle breaks on a timer you set.
Mini-break interval in minutes 15 to 45 Time between mini breaks, picked at random in this range.
Mini-break duration in seconds 15 to 90 Length of each mini break, picked at random in this range.
Logout during mini breaks Off Logs out for the length of each mini break.

An experimental mode that varies the script’s timing and adds occasional idle actions. The account also tires over a session and recovers after logged-out breaks. It’s off by default.

Each account gets its own break habits, worked out from its account seed: how often it breaks (on average every 22 to 40 minutes), whether its breaks run a little shorter or longer than usual, a bedtime between 9 pm and 2 am by your computer’s clock, and a night’s sleep of about 6½ to 9 hours. Bedtime moves around from night to night, by up to 30 to 75 minutes either way depending on the account, and each night’s sleep varies a little.

The breaks it takes, with their usual lengths:

Break Usual length Logs out
Looking away 20 to 30 seconds No
Checking another screen 20 to 45 seconds No
Answering the door 45 seconds to 2½ minutes No
Getting water 45 seconds to 3 minutes No
Bathroom break 3 to 8 minutes Yes
Meal break 15 to 35 minutes Yes
Running an errand 45 minutes to 2 hours Yes
Sleeping The account’s own sleep length Yes

Break frequency shifts the account’s usual habits. Fewer spaces breaks out more (gaps about a third longer) and logs out a little less often. More brings them closer (gaps about a quarter shorter) and logs out a little more often. Sleep isn’t affected. The script never goes to sleep within 20 to 30 minutes of logging in.

The current break’s name shows in the side panel and paint, and End break now in the side panel ends it early.

The simple option: an idle pause every so often, for a length you choose, optionally logged out. A mini break that’s interrupted (for example by an attacker) ends early and the next one is scheduled as usual.

Option Default What it does
Upgrade axe past steel On A steel axe is always bought from Bob’s axe shop in Lumbridge. With this on, the script may also buy mithril, adamant and rune axe upgrades.
Auto-buy pickaxe upgrades On Lets skilling tasks (not quests) buy better pickaxes as they become available.
Pure mode Off Never train Attack or Defence: fights use strength melee, rapid ranged or casting magic, and Attack or Defence training tasks wait while this is on. See Combat.
Max ranged ammo tier Mithril The best arrows automatic ranged loadouts will use: Bronze, Iron, Steel, Mithril, Adamant or Rune. Keeps training from burning expensive arrows.
Max magic combat rune Mind The most valuable combat rune automatic magic loadouts will use or buy: Mind, Chaos, Death or Blood. Strike spells use mind runes, bolts chaos, blasts death and waves blood, so this also limits which spells it casts.

See Gear and loadouts.

Option Default What it does
Enable global food banking Off When an eligible task has no food, restocks from the bank, or gets food using a Collect Food task in your plan or an affordable shop you’ve unlocked.
Always carry an Escape crystal Off Withdraws an Escape crystal when banking, or buys one from Rick at the Wizards’ Tower when 75,000 coins are available.
Stop if a crystal cannot be afforded Off Shown with the option above. Ends the script when no crystal is owned and fewer than 75,000 coins are available. With it off, the script keeps working until it can buy a replacement.
Carry coins for eligible tasks Off For quests, miniquests and supported activities, keeps 10% of your coins in the inventory, up to 100,000.

Global food applies to quests and miniquests, and to Wintertodt while the account doesn’t own warm gloves and boots. A few dangerous quests always bring food, whatever this option says. If food is needed and there’s none in the bank and no way to get any, the script stops and says so. See Food and safety.

Option Default What it does
Earn coins when a task runs short On When a quest or skill can’t afford what it needs, runs the best money maker this account can do (such as Wealthy Citizens, Agility Pyramid, Wintertodt, Aldarin chests or Security Stronghold) until it can, then goes back to it.

With this off, a task that’s short of coins waits while other tasks run, and the script ends if none can. See Money.

The script changes these in-game settings for you and changes them back if they drift during the run. It doesn’t touch them during combat.

Option Default What it does
Mute sounds On Sets the game audio to muted.
Disable roofs On Turns on “remove roofs”.
Enable shift-click drop On Turns on shift-click dropping.
Enable escape close On Lets Escape close the current interface.
Disable activity adviser On Hides the activity adviser.
Disable promotional pop ups On Turns off promotional messages.
Disable level-up guidance On Turns off the level-up guide list and its pop-ups.
Disable world switch confirmation On Turns off the world switcher warning.
Configure world filters On Sets the world switcher filters the script uses.
Force fixed mode Off Switches the client from resizable to fixed mode.

The script also switches off the game’s modern interface whenever it’s turned on. There’s no option for this.
