Agility

Ironman AIO trains Agility on the rooftop courses, the Colossal Wyrm course, the Agility Pyramid and the Brimhaven Agility Arena. Auto-progress is the simplest choice: it moves you up through the courses as you level, picks up marks of grace on the way and buys the Graceful outfit once you can afford it.

To add a task, pick Agility in Setup, set a level range (From and To), choose a method and fill in its options. Every method ends when you reach the To level. Agility needs membership: on a free-to-play account the task waits with “Agility needs membership.”

Method Agility level Other requirements
Auto-progress 1 Food (it gets some if you own none)
Select Course The course’s level (see below) Food, plus the course’s own requirement
Agility Pyramid 30 1,000 coins for supplies
Brimhaven 1 Food, 300 coins
Any (per account) 1 As the methods it picks

These apply to Auto-progress and Select Course:

  • Laps. It runs lap after lap, starting from the first obstacle, and picks up its place again if it gets knocked off or logs back in mid-lap.
  • Marks of grace. It picks up every mark of grace that spawns on the course.
  • Gear. Each bank trip wears Graceful (or boots of lightness) where you own it, and banks heavy armour and weapons to keep your weight down.
  • Food. It takes up to 20 of your best food and eats when your Hitpoints get low. When the food runs out it finishes the lap first, then banks.
  • Run. It turns run back on once your run energy has recovered.
  • Travel coins. It takes 300 coins for the trip to Pollnivneach, and 30 coins when the course is on the other side of White Wolf Mountain from you.

On every course except Brimhaven, the script buys the Graceful pieces you are missing from Grace in the Rogues’ Den. It waits until it can afford all of your missing pieces in one go:

Piece Marks of grace
Graceful hood 35
Graceful top 55
Graceful legs 60
Graceful gloves 30
Graceful boots 40
Graceful cape 40

Marks are the main currency. Termites from the Colossal Wyrm course count too: the script trades every 100 termites for an amylase pack at Worm Tongue’s shop and sells the packs to Grace for 8 marks each. Pieces you already own (in the bank or worn) are never bought again.

Trains on the best course for your level and switches to the next course as you level up. It only switches between laps, when you’re back on the ground.

Agility level Course
1-19 Draynor Village rooftop
20-29 Al Kharid rooftop
30-39 Varrock rooftop
40-49 Canifis rooftop (Varrock until Priest in Peril is done)
50-59 Falador rooftop
60-69 Seers’ Village rooftop
70-79 Pollnivneach rooftop
80-89 Rellekka rooftop
90+ Ardougne rooftop

Use Wyrm. Tick Use Wyrm to train on the Colossal Wyrm course in Varlamore instead of Falador and Seers’: the basic course from 50 to 61 and the advanced course from 62 to 69. It needs Children of the Sun; without it, the task uses the rooftop courses above. On the Wyrm course it talks to Worm Tongue the first time, and it keeps the termites and blessed bone shards it earns. Termites help pay for Graceful (see above).

When it’s done: when you reach the target level.

Trains on one course you choose for the whole level range. It never moves to another course. The Course dropdown lists:

Course Agility level Requirement
Draynor 1 None
Alkharid 20 None
Varrock 30 None
Canifis 40 Priest in Peril
Falador 50 None
Wyrm Basic 50 Children of the Sun
Wyrm Advanced 62 Children of the Sun
Seers 60 None
Pollnivneach 70 None
Rellekka 80 None
Ardy 90 None

The task doesn’t start until you have the course’s level (and its quest, for Canifis and the Wyrm courses).

When it’s done: when you reach the target level.

Climbs the Agility Pyramid in the desert, collects pyramid tops and sells them to Simon Templeton for coins, so it trains Agility and makes money at the same time. Setup won’t accept a From level below 30.

  • Supplies. It takes 1,000 to 5,000 coins from the bank. It buys a desert robe, desert shirt, desert boots, a waterskin and a Shantay pass from Shantay, and buys choc-ice from Rokuh in Nardah as food, keeping at least 5 on you.
  • Gear. It wears the desert robes, plus the Graceful hood, gloves and cape if you own them.
  • Pyramid tops. It talks to Simon Templeton the first time to unlock the course. It hands him the tops once it carries a set number (each account has its own number), or when it’s running low on choc-ice.
  • Low Hitpoints. It eats choc-ice and waits to heal before going on.

If you own fewer than 1,000 coins, it reports a coin shortage; see Money.

When it’s done: when you reach the target level. The same pyramid also appears as a money maker; see Money making.

Trains in the Brimhaven Agility Arena and turns the arena tickets into Agility XP.

  • Entry. It takes 300 coins (the 200-coin entry fee plus travel) and pays Cap’n Izzy No-Beard, then climbs down into the arena.
  • Tickets. It follows the hint arrow to the pillar with the ticket dispenser and tags it for a ticket. While it waits for the next pillar to light up, it trains on the obstacles next to it. It plans its route between pillars by your level, avoiding obstacles that need 20 or 40 Agility until you have them, and avoids an obstacle for a minute if it fails it three times.
  • Food. It leaves the arena through the exit to bank when it runs out of food.
  • Turning in tickets. As soon as the tickets you own (carried and banked) are worth enough Agility XP to reach your target level, it leaves the arena, takes the tickets from the bank and spends them on Agility XP at Pirate Jackie the Fruit near the arena entrance. The GUI notes this with “Tickets are redeemed automatically when they can reach your target level.”

It doesn’t buy Graceful while training here.

When it’s done: after the tickets have been turned in and you are at the target level.

Any (per account) splits the level range into stages and gives each account its own mix, the same every run. Up to around 30-40 it uses Auto-progress. In the middle stage (up to around 45-60) some accounts spend a while on the Agility Pyramid (from 30). After that it goes back to Auto-progress. Whether an account uses the Wyrm course is decided once for the whole skill. See Account seeds.

  • When Add Missing Reqs adds Agility levels, it adds an Auto-progress task with Use Wyrm ticked.
  • See Food and safety for how the script picks which food to eat.
