Setting up

When you start Ironman AIO without a start-up argument, the Crazy Ironman Builder window opens. You build your plan there and press Start. This page walks through the window screen by screen, then covers what happens after you press Start.

  • The window opens with the settings you last started with, so your previous plan is already there. These are stored as the Last Run profile (see Profiles).
  • Closing the window without pressing Start stops the script.
  • If you’re logged out when you press Start, the script logs in by itself.

The column on the left switches between screens. The Start button sits at the bottom of it.

Setup has two halves: Browse on the left, where you pick what to add, and your Task list on the right. Picking anything opens the editor drawer, which slides in from the right.

At the top is a search box (Filter…). Typing searches skills, quests and activities at once and shows the matches in three groups.

Under the search box, Include task list also filters your task list on the right by the same text. It’s ticked by default. While a filter is active you can’t drag tasks to reorder them, so clear the search box first.

The three tabs:

  • Skills lists every skill with your current level beside it (Lv 45).

  • Quests lists quests and miniquests with F2P or P2P beside each one. Above the list:

    • All, F2P and P2P filter by membership (shown when the search box is empty).
    • Hide completed hides quests you’ve finished.
    • Rewards shows a short reward line under each quest. This setting is saved with your profile.

Quest names are coloured by status: green when complete, yellow when in progress, orange when you meet the requirements, and red when something is missing. A quest that’s already in your task list disappears from the browse list.

  • Activities groups everything else into collapsible sections: Money Making, Diaries, Minigames, Collecting and Item Buying. Most activities can be added once, and they leave the list after you add them. Money makers and a few others (such as Collect Item, Kill NPC For Items and Buy Runes) can be added as often as you like.

Each task is a card showing its number, its name and chips with its settings (for example Lv 1 → 60, Chop & Drop, a location). Quests can also show a yellow warning when your plan won’t reach a level the quest needs (see Planned level checks).

Each card has these controls:

Control What it does
Drag handle (six dots) Drag the card to a new position.
Move up / Move down Move the card one place.
Edit Reopen the card in the editor drawer. Shown for skills, editable activities, and quests with choices such as lamp skills.
Duplicate Copy the task just below itself.
Delete Remove the task.

Above the list:

  • Add Missing Reqs looks for quests and skill levels your plan needs but doesn’t include, shows them in a dialog, and adds them at the top of the list if you confirm. See Requirements.
  • Clear all empties the task list straight away, without asking.

The drawer shows the options for the skill, quest or activity you picked. What it contains depends on the task:

  • Skills: a Level range (From → To), a Method, and depending on the method a location and extra options.
  • Quests: the quest’s requirements with a tick or cross, its rewards, and for some quests a choice such as the skill for a reward lamp.
  • Activities: an amount (How many?), a Target level, a Method, or nothing at all, depending on the activity.

Press Add to put the task in your list, or Cancel (or click outside the drawer) to close it. When you’re editing an existing card, Add replaces that card. Building a plan describes the editors in more detail.

Press Start at the bottom of the navigation rail. The script then:

  1. Saves everything in the window as Last Run.
  2. Closes the window and logs in if needed.
  3. Builds the plan. With a preset active it builds the preset; otherwise it uses your Setup list.
  4. Banks before the first task, unless Skip initial bank is on.
  5. Starts the first task that can run.

Along the way it switches the game settings you ticked in Preferences, and it puts them back if they change during the run.

If the list is empty and no preset is active, there’s nothing to plan and the script ends straight after logging in.

The script takes one optional start-up argument: the name of a saved profile.

  • With a profile name, the script loads that profile and starts straight away, without opening the window. This is how you run different accounts on different plans (see Profiles).
  • To reuse your last settings without the window, use lastRun as the argument.
  • If the profile has no tasks and no active preset (or doesn’t exist), the window opens as usual.

Starting from an argument doesn’t change your Last Run profile.

The script adds a Crazy Ironman Builder tab to the client’s side panel. It shows:

  • Current task: the task, what it’s doing right now, and a progress bar with its target.
  • Build progress: how many tasks are finished out of the total, and a Completed list.
  • Runtime, Next task rotation (when rotation is on), Next herb run (when you have herb runs planned), Break remaining and Skipped.

And four buttons:

Button What it does
Edit plan & settings Opens the same window with your current setup while the script keeps running. Press Start in that window to apply your changes; the script switches at the next safe moment (not mid-fight, in a minigame, an instance or the Wilderness). Tasks already completed or skipped stay that way. Closing the window without Start keeps the current plan.
Skip current task Marks the current task as skipped for this run and moves on.
Force break / End break now Starts a short break at the next safe moment, or ends the break in progress.
Send debug report Sends a report to the script’s developer to help fix a problem. See what it contains.

The script also draws an overlay on the game screen with the current task, its runtime, tasks completed and status. You can turn it off with Show paint in Preferences.
